Mark DeMoss, Founder

Since founding DeMoss in 1991, Mark DeMoss has served many of the world's most prominent and effective Christian ministries and enterprises. Mark has been involved in shaping some of the largest Christian events and campaigns over the past decade while simultaneously overseeing the growth of his firm. He has extensive media relations experience with both religious and secular media and provides particular expertise to clients in crisis/issues management and communications. Mark provides primary public relations counsel and strategic planning for DeMoss. His first book, The Little Red Book of Wisdom, was originally published in 2007; a revised edition was published in 2011. Mark served as a senior advisor for Mitt Romney's 2008 and 2012 presidential campaigns. He earned a political science degree from Liberty University.

Jeremy Blume

For nearly two decades, Jeremy Blume has traveled the world directing public relations efforts 
for national and international organizations and nonprofits. He serves on the leadership team at DeMoss, overseeing communications counsel, strategy and positioning.
 Jeremy is on the boards of Q and Plywood People, two innovative nonprofits;
 he lives in Atlanta and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina.

Adrienne Brown

Adrienne Brown joined DeMoss from Leader Enterprises, an Atlanta-based integrated marketing agency. She brings with her a background in film, digital and social marketing for brands including Disney, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Chick-fil-A and GLOCK. A graduate of Pepperdine University, Adrienne started her career on the west coast with Daniel Brian & Associates before moving east.

Jessica Brown

Prior to joining DeMoss, Jessica Brown spent several years working as a publicist and marketer in book publishing in Nashville, Tennessee, and New York. Her previous work on faith-centered titles at Simon and Schuster and Penguin Random House prepared her to serve faith-based clients with diverse audiences. Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and film with a minor in communication studies from the University of Alabama.

Christine Cape

Prior to joining DeMoss in 2010, Christine Cape was a part of the public relations team for Greater Twin Cities United Way. She specialized in working with media to showcase United Way’s impact on poverty. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations and advertising from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota.

Heather Cirmo

With 15 years of public relations experience in the Washington, D.C., area, Heather Cirmo brings a background of political and nonprofit experience to the team. She has been an organizational spokesperson on national TV, radio scriptwriter, nonprofit consultant, congressional campaign speechwriter and social media strategist. Heather graduated magna cum laude with a communications degree from Biola University in southern California.

Jennifer David

Jennifer David manages our production department, focusing on project implementation and serving our clients with excellence. In addition to her production duties, Jennifer coordinates logistics for events related to Operation Christmas Child—even if that means planning walking routes through Manhattan for people dressed as life-size shoebox gifts. She joined us in 2002 after graduating summa cum laude from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication.

Janna Dawson

Janna Dawson joined DeMoss with experience in both agency and faith-based communications environments. Most recently, she worked at Passion City Church in Atlanta, developing communications strategies and implementing events that reached more than 1,000 people each month. Prior to Passion City Church, Janna worked at Ketchum Public Relations, where she was involved in nationally recognized brand marketing campaigns and gained experience in communications planning, media relations, product positioning, branding and cause marketing. Janna earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in communications studies from the University of Georgia.

Karen Dye

Since 2002, Karen Dye has served a number of DeMoss clients with distinction. She specializes in public relations strategy and communications counsel. Karen currently directs our work for Operation Christmas Child and Cru (the name of Campus Crusade for Christ in the U.S.), and provides strategic counsel for several other accounts including Open Doors. She is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in public relations.

Mindy Faieta

Mindy Faieta creates highly customized media monitoring reports for DeMoss clients. Prior to joining DeMoss, Mindy worked as senior healthcare documentation analyst for StenTel and M*Modal. She has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry specializing in clinical documentation and client management. Mindy attended St. Leo University.

Sherry Fallin

Sherry has served DeMoss faithfully since 1997, when she joined us from InTouch Ministries. During her tenure, she served as our receptionist for almost 19 years before moving into a part-time role as part of our hospitality and operations team.

Michelle Farmer

With 30 years of experience in corporate and nonprofit communications, Michelle Farmer leads our work for Museum of the Bible and Point University, and serves as a media relations specialist on several other teams. Michelle joined us in 2004, following her tenure as an account executive at Atlanta's Tillman Allen Greer Marketing and Communications and Watermark Public Relations in Melbourne, Florida. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts from Furman University.

Rob Forrester

In 2012, Rob Forrester returned to DeMoss in a business management role after previously serving the firm from 2001-2004 in a public relations capacity. During the eight years between, Rob co-founded and ran a literary publicity firm and served as a strategic consultant to clients such as The Salvation Army, the Yale Center for Faith & Culture, Heidrick & Struggles and GLOCK. He helps lead the firm as part of the management team and is a graduate of Auburn University.

Anna Hutsell joined DeMoss in 2013, bringing her experience in both agency and corporate communications environments. Her previous positions at Cookerly Public Relations, Green Olive Media and Industrial Developments International prepared her to serve a diverse set of clients and audiences. Anna earned a bachelor's degree in public relations with a minor in sociology from the University of Georgia.

Scott Knuteson

Prior to joining DeMoss, Scott Knuteson spent more than eight years in federal government and nonprofit communications. In his previous roles, Scott directed advanced media training for hundreds of leaders from every branch of the U.S. Military; served as spokesperson to top-tier national and international media; led communications for a U.S. Congressman; and garnered support for a Christian clinic serving the needy in Las Vegas. He studied strategic public relations at The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management, is a graduate of Auburn University Montgomery and has a master's degree in management from Liberty University.

Lisa Ledbetter

Lisa Ledbetter is the executive assistant to Mark DeMoss. Having joined DeMoss in 2012, Lisa previously served as the executive assistant to the director of administration at First Baptist Atlanta, as well as in administrative roles in the health insurance industry. Lisa is a graduate of Tennessee Tech with a degree in business administration.

Erin Moore

Prior to joining DeMoss, Erin spent seven years in the Atlanta hospitality industry: from venue management at The Cator Woolford Gardens to event logistics with Bold American Events (for clients such as Coca-Cola and BMW) to private dining sales for Fifth Group Restaurants. Erin is our host for calls and visitors to DeMoss and serves as an executive assistant. She holds a bachelors degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Georgia College & State University.

Lynn Riley

Lynn Riley is part of our production team, helping to deliver projects on-time, on-budget and of the highest quality. Lynn previously served in the community initiatives department at KaBoom!, a national nonprofit focused on bringing balanced and active play into the daily lives of all kids. She earned her bachelor's degree in geospatial technologies with a minor in religion from Virginia Tech.

Katie Rouse

Katie Rouse joined DeMoss in 2011. Her expertise includes advertising and marketing, and she currently leads the firm’s media planning and buying work. Katie previously spent five years with The Walt Disney Company’s Radio Disney division and earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from Shorter College.

Todd Shearer

Whether reporting from Bosnia, interviewing terrorist attack survivors at the Pentagon, or rappelling down the side of a high-rise hotel, veteran journalist Todd Shearer has reported on a wide range of stories during his career. Before joining DeMoss in 2005, Todd spent 17 years chasing the news at television and radio stations across the country. Todd directs our work for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse, and provides strategic counsel for several other teams, including the American Center for Law and Justice.

Frank Taylor

Frank Taylor has been DeMoss' controller since 2001. Prior to joining our team, Frank served for six years with a CPA firm specializing in income tax and audits. For nine years, Frank managed a family agriculture business in South Georgia. He also served as director of finance for Darton College in Albany, Georgia. Frank earned his B.B.A. in accounting at Valdosta State University.
