"I have decided to Dissolve my firm on March 31, 2019."
Since I began my public relations career in 1984, I've been struck by the Exodus account of Aaron and Hur holding up Moses' arms as he lifted the staff during battle. This is how I always viewed my PR firm—working behind the scenes to give greater support, lift and protection to the leaders, programs and ministries devoted to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.
But at age 56 it is clear to me that my passion and skill lay in the practice of public relations—not the business of PR. So, after nearly three decades of owning and running a firm, traveling extensively, directing and managing campaigns, and navigating every conceivable ministry crisis, I have decided to dissolve my firm on March 31, 2019.
Two years removed from a cancer diagnosis, I am grateful to be cancer-free. In addition to the gift of God's presence and physical healing during this journey, the experience motivated a season of reflection ultimately leading to both clarity and affirmation of this important decision for me. It has served as a constant reminder that "my times are in His hands."
Thirty-five years is a long walk in the same direction, and I'd have it no other way. As I prepare to close this firm, please know I am not retiring from productive life—I am merely retiring from the agency business. My passion for His Kingdom is not diminished. I love His Word, His Church and His people.

I am eternally grateful to some 100 DeMoss colleagues and the 200 organizations we have served—and to our ultimate client, Jesus Christ.
